HURRY TIME IS RUNNING OUT! OUR SCHEDULE IS FILLING UP FAST!!!
Rindecella
My favorite show. I have been telling this story for many a year. I started telling Rindecella in the mid. 80's. I was performing with my group the Faultline players at Marshall Scotties in San Diego when a blind friend asked me why I did not tell the story of Sindefella? The man proceeded to tell me the hilarious story I had heard briefly once before by a man named Archie Camble. When I arrived home I had forgotten the story the blind man had told me. I decided that I could write my own version of Sindefella. So in between shows I would try my version of Rindecella on patrons milling about. I began using the audience members as improvisational actors for the show. Now fifteen years later, A Fool and His Lady have a wonderful family show. My wife Mary plays the part of Rindecella, while my son Douglas II plays the part of the Harald, and my daughter Alexis plays the fairy Godmother. The audience plays the StickWept mother, two sgly utep sisters and the Pandsom Hrince. Rindecella is the show we most often do at school events. We have done this show at many weddings, using the wedding party as the actors. This show is great fun in all time periods. Rindecella is also done as Cinderella upon request.

Douglas II and Alexis grow with every show and their characters they play grow with them. They both attend the Children's Creative and Performing Arts Academy in San Diego. Mary works at CCPAA as the Drama teacher for grades k- 4th.
I believe that I am the only person that has spoonerised Hansel and Gretel. Watching the audience try to keep up with my quick storytelling is pure fun. By the end of the show the audience participates in eight separate movements.
Mary running out of the Dancy Fress ball. at Lake Arrowhead in 1999.
Mary running to the pandsom Hrince. At the Escondido fair in 2003.
Mary screaming at the mtrock of sidnight
Mary dancing with the Pandsom Hrince.
GANSEL AND HRETEL
I wrote this show in 1999. When Alexis was born I decided to develop a show that would star Douglas II, Alexis, and Mary. Mary (my wife) play's the Sticked Wtep Mother, and the Lary old Scady. Douglas plays the part of Gansel, and Alexis plays the part of Hretel. We use an audience member as the cood wutter. On occasion I will use audience members to act out every character in the play when my family is not available. The older kids (10-90) like the show for all the spoonerised words. The younger tikes (0-90) like the show for the BIG movements. Gansel and Hretel is a well rounded show. I tell the story and when a certain word is said the audience participates with an action, for instance: When I say, "Freat Gorest", the audience will then hold up their arms and act like trees. CORONA CA. MAY 2000.
Jack And The Beanstalk is my oldest show. It all started in the early 80's when I did not have enough actors for the show. I started to use the audience as the cast, and the show took off. The audience played Jack, Beanstalk, Cow, Mom, Sales Person, Giant, Chicken that laid the gold eggs, and the Harp that sings. In the mid 90's Mary started to play the part of Jack, and that changed the entire show. It was a blast. Then in the year 2000 our son Douglas came along and took the roll away from Mary. What a turn the show took again, because Douglas had his own ideas on how the show should go. It is a lot of fun to perform and to watch. This show provides you with many Kodak moments. I meet people all the time that were in my show years ago. They bring their friends, moms, brothers, sisters, cousins, dad's and so on... because they are anticipating their loved ones being brought on stage. It makes my job easier when half the audience is pointing at the next person to participate in the show. By the end of the show the audience has memorized all the actors names playing their different characters. Can't you see this is a must see show.
Here I hand my son Douglas or "Jack" the ax to chop down the beanstalk. As you can see it is a government issued OSHA approved ax. The safety is on.
